New way to cover a hole...

Look what I found on our second camping trip....and this is on a $40K Camper.
Yes that's right, it is a rag covering the hole on the floor (where the water lines come into the cabin).

I'll bet that worker is still wondering where his towel went. Usually the hole is just left open ..... maybe they did you a favor. It is a shame but it is not only Keystone with this workmanship. I filled all of mine with expandable foam.

2014Fuzion300 -

You might consider yourself lucky. I think there are a lot of us who were left with just holes - no fancy, coloured cloths plugging them up. Were those rags an option that you ordered? Extra money for colour? Or are they standard features on a $40K unit?

New way to cover a hole...

CW is going to cover the hole with expandable foam (while fixing another couple of bugs). I hope they let me keep the rag...lol

I am happy they are going to fix it and you may get to keep the rag. Smiling and applauding your good fortune in a holiday spirit.

GEEEZ !!!! And to think it's not just a "cotton" rag, it looks like one of those "new, high tech" microfiber ones !!!!! How'd you rate getting that??? Most of us just get holes, "special people" get rags and you get microfiber???? Hmmmmmm where's your connection at the factory??????

Cheers

I pack in some steel wool first so critters don't chew through the expanding foam.

Great Stuff makes a Rodent Proof product so you don't need to use Steel wool which rusts over time.
