Johnny -
Your "Dear Wife" is often referred to as DW and you could be called the Dear Husband of your Dear Wife - or DH. While these are the common shortcuts - abbreviations - you can be as imaginative as you want to be - depending upon how "dear" you are to each other.

Not only is our Raptor Velocity long (41'), but the graphic on the front just looks like something "heavy metal & wild". So it's name is "The Beast".

GPS is Nagging Nancy... She's normally a mild mannered young lady, but, get off the path to get fuel and she's constantly nagging to "make a U-turn at the next available area..." I'm waiting for a GPS that "knows" when you are getting fuel and aren't intentionally ignoring "her" or "him"...

The kids like to call it the "Big Rolling Turd" from the movie RV. When something is broken, I call it "POS", and in keeping with the name brand, it is sometimes called the "CRaptor".

My Rv is the Cracker Cabana for obvious reasons and the truck is the Black Pearl because it is all black and ordered just like I wanted it.

Our first trip in the new TT with the kids was to the local Yogi Bear. Close to home and lots for the kids to do while mom and dad try everything out. All they had were statues of Yogi. The kids kept asking "where's BooBoo?" So I bought a small stuffed BooBoo at the gift shop and put it in the TT. We lovingly refer to the trailer as BooBoo now. I put the little guy up on the top of one of the windows and although I have not attached it with anything it has stayed through a couple of 100 mile trips.

The trailer is "Samantha" named by the kids, playing off the "S" in Summerland. The F-150 is "El Jefe" because my wife was thinking of a name to play off the F in F-150. Our old pop-up "Poppy" of course! My wife named her van "Vivian"

We've named ours 'BB', it stands for bear bait. When we were driving it up from Haines through Canada, we stopped along the road to take some pictures of the bears. On two seperate occasions, bears came up along side the camper and started sniffing the side marker lights. One got a little to close and stuck his head in the window of my F250, so, yeah, his paws were up on the window sill looking into the cab of the truck (we moved to the other side of the truck, forgot to roll up the window, duh). I got a great picture of it, need to figure out how to get it on here.

Have you named your unit?

We have named our unit HOWie (home on wheels),

Our truck is The Beast because it is so huge...21 ft long

On my dash I have a stuffed ghost named BOO who is my ghost rider (have had him for 12 yrs now) & he goes in every vehicle I have owned

looks like most campers name their RVs, just wondering if the newbies or anyone for that matter, want to get in on the action and tell us what they have named theirs.

A friend from church stopped by when she sw our Passport 199ML in the drive. She called it our "Little Love Nest". We were at a couple's retreat and she asked us in the group...."did you guys bring the Love Nest? Not sure what shade of red our faces turned.

Just traded for a Cougar 29REV...not sure what she would call that! We still call it the Love Nest from time to time!
