Your luck is better than mine! And retrieving a PEX line from inside a wall with mechanical claw didn't work for me as the PEX was too slick, don't ask me how I know.

flybouy, finding something to secure the lines and their fittings is the wise
way to proceed. Also, don't button it all back up until after you've leak checked
