Moving Spare Tire Off Bumper . . .
We're looking to put a Swagman 2-bike rake on the back of our 2013 Cougar Lite 30' 5th wheel so we need to move the spare tire, hopefully, somewhere under the front of the unit close to the front landing legs. Saw something from BAL that was intriguing but don't think that will work for us. Have had something similar suggested to that which places the spare tire under a pick-up by Liggett. Just looking for any suggestions and/or any problems.

I'm very happy with a device from Lippert that I purchased and mounted after buying the Springdale. Secure, I have mine mounted just behind the landing gear. I added a receiver hitch to the rear of my trailer, primarily for use with a Yakima product to hold my bikes.

I bought the BAL and its being delivered today. It took one month to get but its finally here.
I'll do the install it a couple of weeks and post the results.

I just threw my spare in middle of the front pass through storage so that I could mount my bike rack on the back. And I don't have to worry about anyone stealing it either!

It fits really nicely under the bed on our 293SAB, after cleaning it well of course.

I like that idea of under the bed, never thought of that primarily because we don't use that area for storage anyway.

We installed a front hitch to carry our bike carrier, works awesome. I can keep the back for the big ice chest and others things.
