327RES owners..L Shape Sofa question

Ok, As I mentioned, we have a 2014 327RES being delivered next friday In looking at pictures of the unit we have purchased, and other units, we have noticed a difference in the length of the "L" portion of the sofa. Ours and some others we looked at online, have what appears to be extra seating and extends all the way to end of the countertop. Others are shorter and don't have the extra seat. I know I could ask the dealer tomorrow and probably get an answer but our curiosity is killing us. Can anyone answer? Thanks!!

saw the same in the pictures. on mine the sofa has NO END on it like the newer ones pictured. cant help as far as more seating goes?
also they added the second step on step up from main floor to the landing by the bathroom and the new bigger dresser style cabinet at the foot of the bed. different window design in the bedroom due to this change also.

Thanks Randy, Did get an answer from my dealer this morning. Somewhere in the 2013 model year, they did extend the L shaped sofa. It added a little more seating. Apparently, it folds down to allow your slides to come in.
He said it did add one more step to pulling in the slides, but it is easy to do and does provide a larger seating area on the sofa. Counting the days until Fridays delivery. We are like kids the week before Christmas!!

Saw this at the recent RV show. We have the short L-shaped sofa. (love it). I believe you lose the pull out ottoman and its added storage with the longer sofa. I think this is because the longer sofa has the bed cushions vs. the air mattress, can't say which is better as I've never slept on either style. I can see the additional seating being a plus but thought the heating vent in the floor left behind the longer sofa was sort of weird.

You're going to love the 327RES.

Question

We saw the same thing on the heat vent
Guess that leather seat will be heated.
