If you already have the install/owners sheet for the water heater in the pile of paper work and manuals you got with the trailer, the cut-out requirement info should be there for you. If you do not have the sheet, go to the manufacturer's website where you will find installation instructions for water heaters. On the instruction sheet, they list the cut-out requirements for each.
Obviously you will have to take some measurements on your trailer to know the answer for sure.
Shower flow is also dependent on decent pressure. 35-40 psi is ideal. Debris in the screen filters or in the shower head itself can restrict flow. And some folks have had great experiences by swapping out the standard RV head for a commercial head. The plumbing fittings for shower heads and hose are all the same for RV's and regular residential stuff.
