Towed with my current 07 Dodge CTD dually.

What I am towing now a 318SAB Cougar and I am towing the trailer with 2008, 2500HD Ram Mega Cab 6.7L Cummins. This is the largest 5er that I need to tow.

Well I know I'm going to take some flack for this one. I'm pulling a 2012
Raptor 365 Velocity with an 09 2500 HD diesel. We carry a XP850 touring.
a couple of bicycles. Some times a Porta Boat. We don't carry any water
and travel light.

I pull a 2008 fuzion 362 with quads loaded tips the scales at about 15,000, with no water. I pull it with a 2005 duramax 2500HD and honestly am surprised how well it tows it. I do 60 on the freeway and don't push it to hard up passes. I am putting exhaust on Friday, can't wait to see the difference. I do have airbags.

Alpine 3500 w/ F250
I've pulled a Alpine 3500 (about 15K pounds) with a Ford F250 diesel.
I wouldn't recommend it, I was way down on the back. However I only moved it about 500 feet (out of a space, a big turnaround, and back to about 40' away from where I started). I doubt I went faster then 10MPH at any point, and was at or under 5MPH for most of the trip. For that distance and speed it worked fine, and I would do it again if I needed to. For any real distance and/or speed I would recommend a bigger truck or a smaller 5er.

35' Montana with a ford 250 7.3 diesel. I read in a manual that it should have some water when pulling. Something about distribution of weight.

I pulled my new Raptor 395 LEV 200 miles from the dealer with my '05 Duramax 3/4 Ton Silverado. It actually handled very well even though the hitch weight was a bit heavy. I will add some springs and/or air bags before I go any distance with it. I will also upgrade from 10 plys to 14 plys for better weight handling.

It was singled and converted for RV use, but my home state of SD does not use an RV classification for trucks. So its registered as a private non-commercial truck, same as a pickup, and doesnt require any special license in SD (provided its not used commercially). That varies state by state. It has everything to qualify as an RV (bed, toilet, cooking, electric supply, etc) in those states which use that classification.
