KOA Savannah - South

Our grand daughter went to Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA so whenever we were in the area we visited with her. This KOA was as close as we could get so we stayed there numerous times during her collage years. It can best be described as the bottom of the KOA food chain. Improvements - if any - have been few and mostly necessary. The sites are level but hard to get into and out of, even the pull thrus. Mainly because of the tall pine tree locations. They have a nice large RV wash rack at the entrance and if you ever stay there during some rain you will find out why, it becomes a sandy marsh. For me, the very best amenity is their large well stocked lake. If there for more than a day or two I’ve always got at least one Bass of more than three pounds from that lake.
