Furrion Solar Connector

Hey All;

I finally found a male solar connector for the installed female connector on my Sprinter 5th wheel. My question is, which is the positive, top or bottom? The inside frame is finished off and I can't see the position as they come through the wall to the battery leads. Any standards known or direction would be appreciated!!

use a multi-meter to test the voltage on the female connector on the trailer.

If the reading is negative, switch the leads.
Positive reading = Positive lead is on the positive cable, negative lead goes to neg/ground.

Furrion solar plug wiring

Had the same issue, but our RV is at a storage yard. Found a YouTube which explained which pin is which. However after wiring it up, the video said not to connect the solar panel unless you put a charge controller in line to prevent overcharging the battery.

Next job....

My solar receptical is mounted such that the inside portion of the plug is within the pass thru compartment. I just looked at the inside of the plug...red wire= positive!
