New from Ohio

Ordered a new Cougar xlite 28rdb from the rv show. It should be in by March/April. Towing with 2013 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 liter standard bed. I have gooseneck already installed in truck, now I am trying to decide on wether to get the Reese goosebox to replace trailer pin box or add the B&W companion. This is my first 5'er.

Welcome to the forum. I don't use a goosebox, but one of the members on the forum does. Do a forum search for goosebox and you will see more info on it. Enjoy that new camper.

I have the same truck and setup urged 5'er. Love all of my BW equipment. Go with he companion. With a gooseneck you have to be more precise to hitch up and the companion is a well built hitch like mine a lot. It is heavy but breaks down into 2 pieces. Anymore questions feel free.
