I am a new member to this forum, in fact this is the first time I have posted on any forum. Just purchased a 2011 cougar high country 291rls 5th wheel. Pulling it with a 2012 F250 6.2 gas crew cab with the short box.

I have pulled lots of tt over the years but never a 5th wheel so this will be a new experience. Purchased the Reese 16K select hitch and the Sidewinder. Probably could have got by without the sidewinder but would rather have the flexibility in the event I get in a tight spot.

Looked at a lot of 5th wheels but landed on the 291rls due to the floor plan and also the lighter weight. Wanted to ensure I was not getting to much trailer for the tow vehicle.

Always nice to have another Keystone owner join the group. Looks like a very good combination and one which should provide you with a great deal enjoyment. You won't regret purchasing the Sidewinder.

to the family.

Thank Ray

Read your info on pulling a 5th wheel, was very informative. I printed it out and will keep it in the file in the trailer for quick viewing. I have a back-up camera on my list of things to buy.

Albert,
, we have the same unit and love it. Have towed it over twenty two thousand miles so far. Had some minor issues in the begining, nothing serious. I did add an additional step up to the bedroom/bath area, much easier on the knees and replaced the Lippert Equa-flex system with Dexters' E-Z flex system. Love the way it tows, you can almost forget it's there.
Enjoy the new 5er and Happy Campin.
