Just received a call from DT today to inform me that the Marathons are no longer made. They have been discontinued. So, I’m going with the Endurance and got them for $97/tire. Not too bad. Always call DT instead of going through their website. Info is not matching up.

I just replaced the OEM Trailer Kings with the Endurance. Upped from D to E. I compared the old to new and was amazed at how much sturdier the Goodyear's were. I didn't compare to the Carlisle. I chose to buy American. DT made a great deal, and then knocked a bunch off the mounting to make it better. I have not seen very many bad reviews of the Carlisle's. Very happy with the Endurance though.

I paid more and bought American as well. I hope they perform well for years.

I've mentioned this in other threads. You are new here and may have missed it. GY included a nice add-on with the Endurance trailer tires. A sidewall scuff guard. It does not add strength to the tire. It does add durability in the form of sidewall protection. It does give a false appearance of a stiffer sidewall. And, of course, it's a dense compound that may add a few pounds of weight to the tire, depending on the tire size designation.

How much is that little add on? DT never mentioned it to me.

It's part of the tire design.

I'm also replacing the wheels and got DT to mount and balance for free.

This was my first experience with Discount Tire, but likely won't be my last. These people went out of their way to make sure I was happy. On my way out the store manager came up and thanked me and shook my hand.

I’m having a very similar experience so far. I’m sitting in DT as we speak, getting all four (plus spare) replaced. Told me it would only take 20-30 minutes. They are working on it now. Love this place. Ended up going with Goodyear Endurance.

Been doing business with DT for about 15 years & have used them all across the country, all have had great customer service. In some cases they may cost a bit more, but the confidence that I can have a tire issue taken care any where in the country is worth a few $$ to me.
I had my truck tires rotated in Puyallup, Wa & in the process gouged 2 of the factory wheels, dually tires with aluminum wheels have to be dismounted/remounted for rotation, called dealer & factory GMC dually wheels were $808 each, I told the manager I would accept 4 aftermarket wheels & was told to pick ANY style/brand I chose.

We Had a goodyear g614 ply separation and the tire monitor alerted us of loosing tire pressure. Pulled off the road and the center tread was gone, but the tire was still able to be driven on. We limped into a Discount Tire and had them install 4 new Hartland Tires. The tires are good and they seem to be wearing good. We inflate them to 110psi.

From my understanding of GY tire warranty, they should've replaced the tire for free if it was faulty tread. I replaced my 614s with approximately 60k miles & never had a problem.
