Left rear blinker and break light
Hello,
We have a 2018 Sprinter we bought new in May of this year and apparently the left blinker and break light went out. The tail light works fine so I don't know if it is the bulb or something else. Anyone else have an experience like this?
Everyone is correct when talking the lack of quality put into RV's especially how much they cost.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Pat

First thing is to try the bulb. 1157 comes to mind, after that look at the bulb base and the two "buttons" in the socket for corrosion.

If it is the normal 1157/1357 bulb it is double filament. One is dimmer (tail) light and one brighter (turn signal/brake) light. If they are LED sounds like wiring at tail light itself or in box where umbilical cord connect.

Same here! I just thought about my post and thought I was a little quick with the fingers. No harm no foul!
For the record, 29 Years in law enforcement has taught me not to get upset over little things...carry on my friend!!

And, just for clarification........it's Brake light, not break light..........unless your brake light is broke........then it's OK to call it a break light!

Just for clarification...it’s broken, not broke...also you shouldn’t start a sentence with the word and!

Patrick, let's chill out a little and put things in perspective. You have a nice rig. Your RV is particularly nice, a great priced RV giving you a lot of amenities. You live in a beautiful little city well away from the big city. Two great furry travel companions......you can't let an 1157 bulb cut out some of your sunshine. Probably one Phillips screwdriver and a trip to NAPA with $3.00 will put this all behind you. And for any other members reading this who haven't been to Rome, Georgia.....put it on your bucket list.

It was meant to be a "humorous" post, with no regard to correct verb or adjective usage or to past or present tense. Starting a sentence with the word "and" is almost as bad as ending one with a preposition.......so give me a "brake".

I’m sure you meant to be funny. No hard feelings. I also thought it was funny that during your post you also made a grammatical error. I started not to point it out, but it was too ironic not too. Your “brake” is granted.

X2
A light going is not the sign of bad quality! Especially if you have not first checked the bulb. Sure it could be a wiring issue, but first check the bulb.
