Talk about an upgrade!

Hello from Snohomish, WA. We just bought a 2013 Keystone Raptor 395 lev. Funny thing is.... hold on.... upgrading from 22 ft. Airstream travel trailer. We take delivery on 9/11. This thing is super cool and has many major systems on board. Towing with a 2011 Ford F-350 6.7L. B&W companion fifth wheel hitch to fit the Ford OEM 4 puck system. You have a great forum here and I'm happy to join! Any favorites about the Keystone Fifth Wheel toy hauler lines?

Happy Labor Day!

Great to hear. My DW, two boys and two Retrievers are going to have much more room to move around. They are even talking about bringing Grandma along already!

Diesel,

Welcome to the forum. As another "past Airstream owner" I think you'll welcome the added space and the usability of a "square wall RV".....

Gone are the days of not being able to stack 6 plates on top of one another as well as the "stooping over to close the windows. Of course the payments may well be very similar

So true guys! I think we will enjoy the added space of a square walled camper. We may feel surprised by not using all of the collapsible stuff (brooms, toothbrushes, cookware) that we acquired to fit in the round walled camper. Excited to go full size.

Diesel To the forum from west KY. What kind of mileage are you getting with your Ford F-350? I have a 2008 but would like to get a 11 or 12.

Hi Dk, The truck gets 22 mpg not towing, and with the little airstream behind it it gets around 17mpg. Still have to see what the raptor does to it! I hope I'm in double digits! The raptor weighs 14600 empty and I'm sure the mpg will be low towing at the trucks capacity. I'll let you know after the first long trip in October. And by the way..... Love Western KY. LBL, Kentucky lake. I grew up in KY!!!
