Looking for advice on tripods to help stabilize our 28SGS,adjusting legs would be a plus. Can anyone recommend a make and model? Thanks you

Too bad you are in Wisconsin as I would offer you mine as I am looking to unload mine. Have no need for it since I installed JT Strongarms!

Bal rv products fulltimer fastjack

After destroying my first stabilizer tripod because I put too much weight on it we purchased a FULL-TIMER tripod. It goes up super quick and is really good in dealing uneven terrain. Remember tripods are meant to stabilize and NOT support your 5th wheel. A fact which eluded me with my first purchase!

My personal feelings about tripods are that they are a waste of money, space and weight I did try one and didn't find it very effective. I moved onto BAL stabilisers front and rear. They do need a little work it initially install but the are no heavier they take up no space and they work

Had the original JT Armstrong's on my other brand 5er. they worked great. only drawback was that the tension "t" handle bolt threads would gauld. and be hard to loosen or tighten. This was their original about 12 years ago.
great product.

JT strongarms and Steadyfast are good products. Battery configuration prevents me from using either.

I have had my tripod stabilizer for a long time. It worked real good on my previous trailer (36 foot Jayco) and works great on my current one.

They are not a “waste of money”, they are another option. I do use BAL X chocks in addition.

Smile Tripod

We got the full timer, no assembly required easy to install, working well. DW noticed much less trailer movement. Happy camper, thanks to all!

They do help somewhat, but in my opinion too bulky, too heavy, too cumbersome to haul around, gave mine away.

I feel more comfortable with the Harley under the pin with my tripod it also keep my rig from shaking, for what it's worth I posted home made tripod pics on the forums some time back. I would not be with one.
