Slide right into a problem

New to the forum.i just bought a 2009 cougar 320SRX it all looks and works good except the bedroom slide. its not flush with interior wall at the top.there is a gap about 1.5 inches while the bottom is flush. i took a look and found the 1x1 support at the foot of the bed had come loose and twisted down and was not sitting on the rollers. i repair that but it didn't make much of a difference. The outside when its closed looks good and flat. Is there an adjustment for this?

Yes, there are adjustments that can be made to "straighten" slides out. Your slide is probably a Lippert rack and pinion and instructions for adjusting the slide can be found on their website: www.lci1.com
