I guess that is why it was FREE!

Happened to be at a Camping World in CA so we renewed our Good Sam membership card for another 2 years.... they gave us a 4 roll pack of Thetford RV Toilet Paper. We have always used Angel Soft, after doing the "test". We did the "test" on the Thetford and it did not breakdown even after an extended period of time! Your results may vary!

This is a pretty enlightening test for those that dislike RV toilet paper as we do. I was very surprised when I did this years ago with 2 brands of RV paper and 2 regular brands. One of the RV brands (may have been Thetford) didn't break us as easily as the off the shelf brands.

We have tested a number of brands and found Scott RV to be the best. YMMV

^^^^I agree. We've found it to be the best RV brand (2 ply).

We just use any common septic system safe. often single ply, TP, regardless of brand name. We have tried the RV TPs but have found that they will disintegrate while using it but not necessarily in the black tank.

As far as that shake test - not really a valid test as I don't know of any time while parked at a CG or even driving our nation's crappy highway system that our 5er has shaken that violently so any TP will seldon fall apart easily. A macerator along with a couple flushes ( or outlet end back flushes ) will clean out any building poo pyramid.

We generally dump on arrival so everything is pretty mixed up. Also have a dump at home and that is a wonderful thing.
