I believe Texas has the strongest protection via our Homestead laws which are written into the state constitution which has existed even prior to Texas becoming a state and shield homes/land from lawsuits. There is no dollar amount as in many states who also have homestead laws. Other than my home and land, my 96 F250 is my other big ticket item... well I do have a trike and 1980 GS1000G and the dogs. Wife would be really mad if I did something, got sued and they took her dogs!
