Omnidirectional antenna upgrade

Just replaced my omnidirectional antenna with a 1byone omnidirectional antenna made for campers. With my old antenna I could get 5 stations with 3 being clear. These stations are about 35 miles from my house. With the new antenna I can get 16 stations with 14 being clear. The farthest station being about 65 miles from my house. We are not ones to watch much tv while camping but we do watch the news in the morning and before we call it night.

I have been seriously considering replacing our unbelievablyunreceivableomnidirectional antenna for some time. Is the 1byone a direct replacement? Any installation issues?

It has its own pedestal so you will have scrape off old self leveling putty. Use some butyl tape underneath and screw to roof with provided fasteners. Then use self leveling putty to seal screw holes and edge of pedestal. Go inside and replace power switch with one provided. That's pretty much it
