I think the Y provides more options/flexibility. Our Laredo 225MK has the black tank and one on the grey tanks behind the axles. The other grey water tank is ahead of the axles. If you have a long run, it is better to just do that with one hose. I have four sections of hose and two of the accordion hose stands. Seems to work out fine. I store two of the hose sections in the rear bump. Everything else goes in the pass thru. Chris
