On our old trailer we weren't getting very good reception from the antenna that was mounted on the side of the rig. The radio was in the same cabinet as the TV so I added a co-axial splitter to share the signal coming to the TV from the batwing antenna on the roof. Big improvement
. If your radio isn't the problem and all you need is a better signal, you might want to give it a try. The feed from the batwing also has a signal amplifier.
