Depending on your travel route, be aware of the 'high wind warnings' (especially across the mountain passes) as you're heading west. It's been terrible here in NM for weeks... but you're in coastal TX and no doubt already know what *windy* is!
If you're taking 277 to 90, to I-10 west and would like some suggestions for over-night stops, just send me a PM.
