Very true and well said. There is an adjustment period most definitely. Point being that you own your own time and its up to you how you spend it. The wife and I had been involved in Habitat for Humanity and I having had former experience in heating and cooling installed a couple of furnaces in new homes. We helped out with fund raising etc.
You can't fish, you can't golf, you can't sit and watch television all day either. What ever skills you have are still usable so its up to you how to use them or not. A good friend of ours was a lawyer and retired and he went to work at Walmart and loved it. No stress. There is so much to do and a lot of fun to be had. Now the only difference when you retire is you are in control of your time. Use it wisely or waste it, its all up to you.
