On many (maybe even most) "pre 2015 Keystone RV's" the ONLY switch to operate the electric side of the Suburban water heaters was the outside switch (located in the lower left hand corner). Granted there was/is a circuit breaker in the power distribution panel, but it's not generally considered a "switch" in the "normal sense of the word"....

Our Cougar doesn't have an "inside electric switch". The only "water heater switch is the "gas switch" that's located beside the "pump switch". Both are located on the lower part of the tank status indicator panel.

If I remember correctly, Atwood water heaters were the first to include electric and gas switches inside the RV. It wasn't until Suburban bought Atwood that they transitioned most of their Suburban water heaters to the "dual control" switch located inside the RV.
