Had a 2012 F350 6.7 diesel and had it tuned and deleted with power set at the lowest available. I did it for engine health over anything else. I never saw black smoke from the exhaust and didn't need any extra power. Before deleting the oil would be black right after changing it. After deleting the oil would go over 4500 miles and still be relatively clear. Read story after story of guys going to limp mode because one of 4 temp sensors in the exhaust went out. Don't need that problem where I go. Tune and delete are in store for my 2017 soon.
