According to the USGS website, on Jan 12 the river was 2' below normal and today it's about 26' above normal. That's a 28' increase in water level in 5 weeks. The flow rate (per that website) was about 250,000 gallons per second on Jan 12 and is right at 1 million gallons per second today. So yup, dang that's a lot of water.....
