This is interesting. Thanks for posting. I was assuming airvoids but this seems to make more sense. So does anyone know the process/materials used when making panels??
Is it just glass/epoxy covered luan and then gel coat sprayed over it?? Is there any chopped mat or other fiberglass strand laid up onto the luan for structure??
I have only seen air voids from glass not getting rolled and resin not getting rolled into mold on boats, never this, but all of our boats are mostly structural foam, fiberglass, and gel coat. Wood seems to have made its way out of boats entirely in all our lines.
