I use my cordless drill motor, hammer drill and cutoff wheel quite often and am done with the cheap brands. Makita for me.
I bought a Ryobi chop saw after breaking my tool rule. Sparked and failed on the first cut when fabicating a camper dolly. Gave it to a neighbor for parts and back to the store for a Makita. One of these days I'll learn my lesson.
