It is nice to live in Texas, if for no other reason than to be able to drive a short distance and camp with all the "winter Texans". We also camped last week at Cedar Hill State Park in the Dallas area while we visited daughter and grandchildren in that area for the holidays. I highly recommend that park if you are ever visiting that area. One caveat to Texas camping however is that summers can be brutal; as demonstrated by this past summer.
