It is possible to retrofit a trailer with them, but it isn't cheap. Just the parts are about $3500.00, and then labor. We have installed 3 ground control systems.

You said you've put auto leveling on travel trailers. Have any been bumper pulls? The service manager at our CW said he didn't want to put one on a travel trailer due to concerns about the frame yet I see the auto level on new trailers (bumper) and their frames don't appear to be any different than mine.
We are in the midst of discussing either a new 5th wheel and truck or keeping our 2014 Cougar High Country 319RLS. If we keep it I really wanted to add the auto leveling but not if it would be unsafe.
