I have traveled I-5 to Montesano to Long beach several times. Once with a RV. Nice drive, lots of country and bay views. Areas south of South Bend to the Columbia river have open fields that are or were farms and have many Elk year around seen from the highway. Done the drive at night and there is a need to drive slower due to all the Elk and some Deer, once and awhile a Black bear.
