To me, headlights shining in my eyes while trying to hitch up a trailer didn't make much sense. That is what a cargo light is for. I replaced 1156s with much dimmer amber LEDs. They are now good to give just enough light to get around a dark campsite without disturbing neighbors. I never could understand the "Hitch Vision" mirror either .... I can see the hitch and pin without it. Good idea for a TT though.

If you go with LEDs try to find those that are ac/dc.They did not pay attention to polarity on some of the exterior lights. You may have to remove entire light and switch polarity to make dc only bulbs work .... the voice of experience speaking .... all my exterior lights and some interior are LED.
