No, I just used 1" wire loom to cover them. I found that the 12 Volt TVs were not as good and more expensive, as they are a specialty item and don't go on sale. For dry camping, I bought a very inexpensive 150 watt inverter from Amazon, and just plug it into the 12 volt socket and the TV into it. It works just fine.
