Waxing...live & learn

I thought I would hire out my spring wash & wax. I went by the local detail shop and found about what I expected. Two women that looked like jailbirds. I asked how much to wash & wax a 35ft. travel trailer? "$80". "$80??" "Yeah we just did a bus for that." Ok, I'll be back in a couple days. Well....you know what happened...I got the 5th there and the price changed to $200. Still was worth it I thought. I brought my own soap, wax, 8ft step ladder, etc. They said they would wash it that morning and wax it late that afternoon. The next afternoon it wasn't ready. Long story short I got it home the third day. Got to looking at it close and I could tell they waxed it in the hot sun. I could see the places where they squirted the wax on and didn't get it rubbed off.
So last night I tried using a spray detailer on it. No help. This morning I got the Mequiars Cleaner Wax and re-did the entire trailer.
I need to find a neighborhood kid next spring! Doubling up on my Alieve and glucosomine. lol
