I've run my furnace three or four times, once to burn in the new furnace so it wouldn't smell when I needed to run it, and to warm up the camper quickly after we have been gone for awhile in cool weather. If the thermostat is in the heat mode and the target temperature is high enough to call for heat, the furnace may not be getting propane. We typically heat with one or two small electric ceramic heaters because a 30,000 btu furnace can drink a lot of propane. The furnace fan should come on and the furnace should start shortly after if the thermostat is calling for heat. I've found that the thermostat isn't very accurate for cooling, I don't know how accurate it would be for heating because we have never used the furnace for any length of time.
