Daytona 22 Years and counting....

I’ve been camping at the Daytona 500 in Turn 3 against the fence for 22 Years. Not in my Passport, of course as Turn 3&4 does not allow travel trailers due to height restrictions. Many years out of a van, but this will be our 3rd year in a custom built trailer/camper with a platform up top. We designed and built it ourselves. Basically just a bunkhouse inside. It’s watching from the top that makes the difference. We were part of a study by Daytona to determine rules for our end of the track. Best campsite in the infield. Just got a King satellite dish for Christmas I’m ready to get hooked up for the race and for my Passport the rest of the year. It’s 30 below windchills in Illinois right now so I can’t wait to go racing and camping at Daytona in February!
