Good luck and safe travels. I know you are excited. Hope you have a great time and the rain lets up. Little brother emailed me last evening and said it is still raining cats and dogs in Allen, TX, very near Plano.
If you go to Santa Fe try to arrange being there on the weekend if you can and try to make plans to spend time on the square. It's an experience if you've never been there. There are also some very good restaurants nearby for some authentic food you probably won't get anywhere else. Lots of history there too so do some research before you go. We always stay at La Fonda on the plaza and manage to keep ourselves busy for days at a time.
