UPDATE: (sort of)

I spent a few hours yesterday under the trailer. I was able to get enough of the belly panel off to see what is going on.

The tank appears to have been installed BEFORE the flooring and the rest of the insides of the trailer. It is "hard mounted" and as such, there is really no practical way to tilt/wedge it up or otherwise resolve the issue.

I am leaving this at "It's just a crappy design".

I'll just keep a gallon jug handy so that if I DO run out during a shower, at least I can get enough of the the soap/shampoo rinsed off, and THEN deal with the water issue.

Next trailer ? I'll be sure to check this out a little better.
