We have that same Alpine, but 2014 model and absolutely love it.
King sheets are too big, Queen sheets are too small.
I finally found my Queen sheets (Simmons with elastic on the ends for larger mattresses) fit ok (sometimes a bit too tight).
Once we put a foam topper on top it seemed to make a difference for the King sheets (they fit a little more snug).
The fancy bedspread is put away and we have a down comforter & duvet cover on top too. Much easier to take care of.
