We like high count, 100% cotton nice sheets in our main house. Not so much at our other houses or the RV because of what John says.
In the RV, in humid areas particularly, in cool weather we don't run the AC unless it gets too warm. At those times the humidity is definitely something we feel (the AC does a great job of dehumidifying when in use). Not only do we feel clammy, but with tight woven sheets you feel like you're inside a sandwich bag or something so we use more breathable sheets.
