Forum 'Newsletter' question

Howdy;

Been a member since 2011, This new newsletter thing is ok I guess, but for
those of us that don't want it and want to opt out it appears that in order to do
so we have only the one option of eliminating all emails from the forum
not just the newsletter. I like the fact that I can receive emails informing me
that I have a response to a posting I've made or that something is changing , .
I'm one that checks in (maybe not signing in due to new format negating that need),
daily and sometimes more often thus makes the 'Newsletter' un-necessary for those
that do . I can see the 'newsletter' being nice for those that don't check-in regularly
and may prompt them to check-in to check it out.
Whatever, I'd just appreciate the option to eliminate the 'Newsletter' from my in box
(actually it arrives in the SPAM folder), without having to do so after seeing it.

Thanks for your time to read this and perhaps consider the suggestion.
