Works great for us. Seldom use the sofa so just kept the air matt for emergencies. We put in a reclining love seat. I forget the brand name, but it was a little spendy, but sure worth the bucks.

Both backs come off, it is easy move the unit in or out. We also have one wall hugger LB recliner in the LR. Leaves room for knitting table etc. We also turned our dining table 90 degrees.
