Not long ago RVIA recommended that all RV trailer tires 14" and larger should be radial ply tires.

Now there is a new size on the market for those smaller trailers. It's coined ST145/R12 (R for radial). It's a LRE tire with 1520# of load capacity @ 80 PSI. It has an OD of 21.3" with a total width of 5.7". It will fit rims 12x4 and 12x4.5.

Just put the size, ST145/R12, in your search engine to see who all makes them. You're going to be surprised at how many already have them at retail locations.
