heat issues...

Well I have a 3280rl montana. We have very little heat to the front bedroom and the bed slide is always cold. So what I did was get some 2" pink foam board and insulate all the way around the bed slide (just be sure to remove when retracting) and this helped immensly. I skirted the trailer and insulated the front skirting for the bedroom floor (seperate from the bottom half) it stays about 30-40 degrees under there. Next I cut foam board and used spray foam for the propane compartments and the front compartment and replaced all seals on the doors. We had lots of problems with freeze ups and the like and now it's all history. I don't have heated underbelly so I cut an 8" hole in the basement floor and keep a space heater in the basement to help keep floor warm and keep tanks warm...hope all this helps.
