I have a massive cable and lock (motorcycle type setup) I’ve used for computer equipment that I’m thinking of reallocating to my generator. Are generator thieves mere opportunists, or do they go around with bolt cutters and/or saws? And if someone walks off with your locked (or unlocked) generator, what insurance would cover that?
