We know what to expect from the whole Nascar camping experience and have been to many races, most recently MIS in August of this past year, so we realize that it's a "free for all" as far as partying and having a good time.
We have yet to do 'Dega though, and looking for anyone who has camped there and what their experience was.

We always camp in the free lot and have always had a blast camping! The lot we camp in is straight across the road from the main track entrance and then to the left. Were behind the small pay camping lot behind cheap charlies and up near the fence, that's what we call the vendors across from the museum.
