I installed a Dometic in my bedroom this year and it was well worth it. I would not be worth the trouble to change the A/C that is already in place because the difference would be minimal. I just turn the temperature up in the bedroom and it works fine. if the TT is already cooled down, I will let the A/C in the bedroom run and it will keep the whole trailer cool. That will cut down the noise in the living room if I am trying to watch tv.
