coming from truck dealership experience, NEVER MENTION YOU ARE RETAINING AN ATTORNEY, do that on the backside. If they get a whiff that you are going legal, they will stop working on it and let the lawyers dictate what gets done! This will tie it up for much longer, just be persistent and don't take no for an answer.
