We just did part of a long trip and spent some time in the U.P. In June/July. We stayed at State Parks: Tahquamenon Falls, Fort Wilkins and McLain (downstate we stayed at Muskegon). All spots had power, but none had water. Previously we have stayed at Twin Lakes, Brimley, and Van Riper State Parks. Never had a bad experience at any of them. You can fill up with water on your way in and if you have a standard fresh water fill port can add water as needed.
