We often travel up into the Smokey Mountains. We have stayed at a number of RV parks up there but the Flaming Arrow CG is our favorite. It’s kept very clean and the grass was plush everywhere. It’s very quiet there and our site (16) was nice and large and well shaded. We had a 50 amp FHU site which included CATV and WiFi. There is no tax for NC campgrounds so what you are quoted is what you will pay. There is a full size Food Lion about a mile down the road and a mile further on is the Cherokee Casino (Harrah’s). It’s a work in progress and getting very large. To get to Gatlinburg or Pidgin Forge from the CG will be thru the Great Smokey Mountain NP. Very scenic winding roads mostly at 45 MPH. All the highways up and back are currently maintenance free.

The CG is laid out in a semi circle so there are very few pull-thru sites. However, most sites are large and very easy to get into. In the CG reference below you can find all the information about the CG and the area in general.
